Are you required to have additional insurance if you mentor? Located in Pennsylvania.
Not sure in PA Patrick but my insurance or state (MI) didn’t require it from me.

IMO, as the “Inspector of record”… anyone that you invite onto a property that you are inspecting, (Yes, you invited that Mentee), automatically makes you responsible for their actions and any damage they cause.
If they aren’t insured, (why would a Mentee have insurance?), you damned well better be!

Check with your insurance company and see what they require
