Luis,
Welcome to the board.
I?ll let you know that I stayed in Venezuela for over a month about five years ago. I supervised the rehabilitation of the U.S. Embassy there on top of that huge Mountain in Caracas. We hired a bunch of local contractors to assist us in rebuilding the interior of the U.S. Embassy. I had a wonderful time the entire time I was there. I?d return in a minute.
I was staying at the Altimira Suites in Caracas on the 12th floor. Nice view of the city. I also went to Bolivar Square, Bolivar?s Birthplace and other exciting tourist attractions with my Venezuelan girlfriend that I had met there. (Don?t tell my wife).
I could write a book about my tour there, but I?m sure you all don?t want to hear it. I have one shelf (of many) that contains souvenirs from your Country. A coffee bean I stole from Bolivar?s Birthplace, a bottle of Estelar Deluxe, Pictures, A hand made Parrot and a bunch of Bolivares (money).
Anyways, Glad to hear that there?s a fellow NACHI member there in Caracas.
