So has every other conference save the Big 1 and an Independent. Interesting that all conference champions lost with having a bye, so it appears that it’s best not to play in a conference championship game and sneak into the playoffs through the backdoor.
No SEC team will ever winanother National championship under the playoff system. They no longer have the benefit of a bias preseason ranking to permanently skew "strength of schedule ". Always was a sham. SEC was never really a dominant conference. It was always built in bias.
Maybe, who knows and I really don’t why you’re wanting to bring this up without identifying your allegiance to any conference. There is a lot of SEC envy out there and always will be.
Having "allegiance " to an entire conference is weird. That is a phenomenon of SEC fans. Have never understood it. Seems sort of like a cult. But the cult is over now thank God! We can just play football.

Trump is destined to be tried in the court of public opinion. Smith will have his prosecutorial report against Trump either leaked or released intentionally. Trump’s political adversaries and the media will have a field day with the unproven, alleged accusations.
The same people who covered up for Biden will bring out the dirt on Trump. So I agree, it is an absolute travesty.

Maybe you missed this part of my post. Judge Cannon, a Trump appointed Judge, authorized the release of the report to the public.
Without a doubt the Trump lawyers will keep trying to suppress it, but IMO it’s a done deal, and even if it reaches the SCOTUS, which it may, I don’t think they’ll want to touch it.

We are in sync. I see it was authorized for release, and then an injunction was held until tomorrow, which does not change my point.
And, as far as leaks are concerned, one was actually planned. You and I both know once that report leaves the halls of the DOJ it will be splattered all over the world.
As a compromise, the Justice Department said that it would not make that document public but would instead share it with select congressional officials for their private review. But Cannon halted those plans and instead scheduled a hearing for Friday afternoon.

Yes, it will be. But you have to agree, or not, that if Judge Cannon wouldn’t have authorized it’s release, it wouln’t have seen the light of day.
Personally Bob, I prefer them to wait until he either leaves the office or dies, whichever occurs first, before they release anymore derogatory information on him, and without a doubt, there’s a lot. But he’s soon to be the POTUS and needs to concentrate on that, not these side shows.
All it will do is embarrass him, not only on the national stage, but the world stage, whether he admits it or not.
It almost sounds like you are against the release and publication of this information. I guess you are not always in favor of “shining a light” into the dark corners.
It is very reminiscent of the Russia Collusion Hoax. The opposition paid for Russian disinformation. The deep state worked the media, and the FBI abused the rights of Americans.
I never said it should not be released, but the tragedy is that it will be a massive drain on the momentum of the Trump agenda. The report will be filled with accusations, disinformation, and unproven theories. All orchestrated by (yet once again) the opposition and paid by the American taxpayer.
Is this any different than the bad actors who publish disinformation on X (and soon FB) on a daily basis?
Nope. In fact, it proves my point. You think the DOJ and the media are the good guys, and there will be sound fact-based reporting, which has been repeatably proven not to be so. They play the same game as the “misinformation” you complain about on X.
So, will you be the arbiter of truth in this situation? Will you rubber stamp what is suitable for public consumption? Are the good guys going to get the word out on Trump? Is that what you see happening here?
