Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit

Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad.

Now is that Toe-may-toe or Ta-mott-ta? I may need to know this for my next home inspection.

PS. tomato is a vegetable!

Knowledge is knowing that the official DASMA auto-reverse test for a garage door is to place a scrap 2x4 on the floor and close the door hoping it will sense the object and auto-reverse itself.

Wisdom is knowing that doors sometimes fail catastrophically during this official test and being right is not always right, and breaking things may be our job but pissing off sellers and realtors is not our goal. Kicking your foot through the optical sensor’s path satisfies the auto-reverse requirement just fine and everyone can get on with their lives.

Wisdom is knowing that even though people may immediately and confidently object with false information, you are responsible for your own adherence to SOP so tune out the FAKE news, Keep calm, and Carry on.

Being born and raised in the south, we kept things simple. Everything was a vegetable except for Apples, oranges, lemons and people from California, those were all fruits.

But, is it a drip leg or a dirt trap?

I saw a structural drawing last week that used the term “footer”.
