Ladder Safety

Please be safe these holidays hanging your christmas lights and hanging ornaments ! Do not climb back of ladder, supports are not meant to be stepped on. Do not stand to top of ladder. Keep both feet on ladder. The last thing we want is some one getting hurt. BE SAFE !

good post, let us hope we hear no stories of ladder falls by fellow homies this winter.

Still waiting for heated ladders !

Do not take chances. Sub out all of your ladder work to Charley B.

Here’s a few for Charlie!

Be careful out there. Choose your path wisely.

Where was this damn post last year before Dec 11 ???

I wonder if it would have saved me?

Always remember to keep this thought in mind when using any ladder -
“The furthest I can reach while on a ladder is to the nearest morgue”.
Saw that when I was about 10 years old in my Dads copy of his “Carpenters”, a monthly journal that was put out by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners. They always had a “humor” page at the end of the mag each month. Prominently centered along with the humor would be some sort of comic illustration on a serious safety topic. 57 years later, for some reason that line still comes to mind each and every time I use any sort of ladder - no matter if it is a “kitchen step-stool”, the tallest extension ladder I have or one of my 60 foot radio towers.
Think safe, act safe, be safe!

I used to install roofs in this weather. not sure why I should be afraid now
