I’m gathering that this is not legit? No trap, no standpipe. Silicone?

Even if the connection method was OK, it would be improper. You cannot co-opt a cleanout to use as a drain.

Seller: my cousin Bobby is a plumber, he installed it; it worked for 15 years, we never had an issue!

You guys are way too fussy …you wrap some duck tape around that and it’ll be good for years :rofl:
