Lead Home Inspector & Operations Manager | W-2 | Company Vehicle + Full Equipment | Austin, TX

Lead Home Inspector & Operations Manager | W-2 | Company Vehicle + Full Equipment | Austin, TX

InspectMore is a growing home inspection company serving the Greater Austin metro area. We’re looking for our first Lead Inspector — someone who wants to be more than an employee. This is a chance to build something from the ground up alongside ownership, with real earning upside and zero out-of-pocket costs.

This is a W-2 position — not 1099. You get the stability of employment with the upside of commission.

How You’re Paid:
Every month, you earn whichever is greater:

  • A guaranteed base ($3,500/month for your first 3 months, $3,000/month after that), OR

  • Commission: 40% of every inspection + 50% of every add-on service you sell

Once your commission volume passes the base, you’re paid on commission — no cap. Inspectors averaging 20+ inspections/month are earning $60K–$75K+ annually. After your first year, hitting target volume bumps your base to $3,500 and your commission rate to 42%.

On top of that:

  • Up to $250/month in operations bonuses (vehicle care, Google reviews)

  • $500/month performance bonus for hitting volume + pricing + add-on targets

  • $50/inspection, forever, for any real estate agent relationship you bring in

What We Cover — 100%:

  • Company vehicle (maintained, insured, fueled)

  • Full equipment: drone, sewer scope, thermal camera, foundation level tool, pool testing kit

  • Business insurance

  • Spectora license

  • Scheduling, invoicing, and client follow-up handled by our back office

  • All marketing and lead generation

Your focus is simple: show up, inspect thoroughly, build relationships with agents, and represent the company well in the field.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform residential and commercial home inspections

  • Build relationships with real estate agents through in-person visits

  • Offer add-on services (termite, pool, sewer scope, drone roof, foundation) where relevant

  • Represent the company professionally in every client and agent interaction

  • Take good care of your company vehicle and equipment

What You Need:

  • Active TREC Professional Inspector License (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of home inspection experience

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check

  • Strong communication skills — you’ll often be the primary point of contact for clients and agents

  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

  • Motivated by growth and commission upside, not just a flat paycheck

Why This Role:
We’re early-stage and building carefully — which means the person we hire now has real influence over how this company operates and grows. If you’ve been doing inspections for a few years and are ready for more ownership over your income and your day, this is worth a conversation.

To Apply: Send your resume and TREC license number to [email protected], or message directly.

Sounds like a good deal but…

I see your WEB site is InspectMore | TREC-Licensed Home Inspections in Austin, TX . Your about states that you were created by “the Mor Family”.

InspectMore was founded by the Mor family—and the name says exactly what we believe in. Whether you read it as a promise to inspect more thoroughly, or as our family name woven into the brand, the meaning is the same: we don’t cut corners. We look at everything, explain what we found, and make sure you feel confident about the biggest purchase of your life.

Who are you though?? There are no TREC licensed inspectors with the last name of Mor License Holder Search | TREC . The only TREC licensed “Mor” is an inactive RE Sales licensee named Avi Mor. Are you Avi Mor?

You are claiming the company was created by “the Mor family”. Who are they and what association do they have to the Home Inspection industry?

Your name Meytal Sinay comes up completely blank in any search. the “Mor” family comes up completely blank in any search with reference to the RE Industry, any aspect of it.

Your domain name was only started in April 2026 and it is obvious you have no Inspectors as by TREC Rule/Law you must list at least the primary Inspector’s license number on your site and do not.

So who are you? Anyone checking out this very interesting job offer, with benefits beyond what is normally seen, should be afforded these answers before they do spend their time pursuing it. There is a saying that “Anything that sounds to good to be true most likely isn’t true!”.

Hi Emmanuel,Thanks for

taking the time to dig in - honestly, if you’re this thorough when researching a job posting, I’d genuinely be interested in talking about you joining our team. That level of attention to detail is exactly what I’m looking for in an inspector.

To answer directly: I’ve never claimed to hold a TREC license myself. I’m the owner of InspectMore - my name is Meytal Sinay, as you found. I’m married to Benny Mor, which is where the “Mor family” name comes from - and we have two young sons together. The name reflects our family, not a licensed inspector’s credentials. I don’t currently hold a TREC license, though I’d genuinely like to work toward one myself down the road as I learn the industry more deeply.

On the “too good to be true” concern - I understand the skepticism, and I’d rather you ask than assume. I’m building this company around finding one exceptional inspector to be the face of the business, and I’m structuring compensation accordingly because that’s how important this hire is to me. This isn’t a volume play - it’s an investment in one person I want to grow with long-term.

You’re also right that the website and domain are brand new - that’s not an oversight, it’s the stage we’re at. The posting is explicit that we’re hiring our first inspector, which means yes, everything here is new. The site actually went live just this past week, which felt like a real milestone for us.

Appreciate you pushing for transparency - happy to answer anything else directly.

Meytal

I never “assume” anything. I was taught long, long ago what that word means when you break it down into its parts. The old saying I provided tends to be true way more often than not.

From what you have told us, and what we can determine, unless you tell us otherwise you have no experience in the RE industry and certainly none in the Inspection part of the industry. The package you are offering is fairly generous and not normally what we see. That would take a healthy bankroll to start a company that way in an industry that is very volatile with so many washing out very quickly. You also quote various statistics that do not sound entirely real but hey if that’s your research and belief then go for it.

If you’re able to start, run, and stay afloat by operating in an ethical manner at all times then good luck and more power to you!
