Hello fellow inspectors, I’ve been in business for close to two years now. I am working toward scaling my business. I am hoping that in the next year or two to start adding other inspectors and increase my coverage area. I am not busy enough right now to really justify it, but feel I should lay the ground work early. Is there anyone who has successfully grown a multi inspector firm willing to speak with me and walk me through what they did? There are tons of outfits in the industry that will do this (for a fee, of course). Mike Crow’s Million Dollar Program & Inspection Empire Builder are two that come to mind.
I’m multi-inspector but basically bought it that way so I’m probably not the best person to ask. I know most of the programs and success stories are from people that have REALLY good marketing skills. Cold calling REA offices to get in and give presentations, etc.

Everything is pointing to a slowdown. Not sure now would be the time for growth.
