I know this is a fluke but the last 4 dryers I installed or helped, fit perfectly…out and in. And one of the new ones was much bigger.
I think the manufacturers are trying to get more common on the exhausts.

That’s what mine is, rigid pipe, no screws. It took a little extra time to connect but well worth it. Been running for 10 years and I can easily clean it from the outside, very little lint sticks inside the duct pipe.
