I just offer to GC the service if you will. I sub the lateral out for example. The company I use covers all the needed paper work, reports and such. I just set up the appointment.
Slammed here with 2 a day, plus most of next week booked.
1st timers, plus / incl USDA Rural Development.
Probably best period since starting in '03.
Same here. RE sales are increasing, exponentially.
I had to turn down an inspection of two buildings (2-story residence and the next door day care center) closing on 6/26 due to lack of time. This means that some ASHI member in Springfield, Missouri is about to make double his $145 fee.
It all depends where you’re working. It can vary greatly within the same metro area. I know of some inspectors in Chicago who are overwhelmed, while just 20 miles to the northwest in affordable, upper middle class - low crime areas, it’s dead. It makes no sense.
Erol, how ya been?
Doing OK, Nick. Thank you for asking. I have been sending work to local NACHI members since my shoulder injury.
Erol,
Good to hear you are doing “OK”. Hows business in the HVAC world? The best of luck to ya.
Hey Dennis, doing OK with regular work. Your next on my send a call to a NACHI brother list. I sent Rick two recently, but they sounded like complete idiots so I don’t if they panned out. I really owe one to Linas, but he practically lives near the Tennessee border.
One did one didn’t. I hope you got my email saying thanks!
Some weeks extremely busy… some weeks really slow. Call volume has really dropped this summer for some reason? Market is really hitting the bottom i think or people are waiting…
(cough/cough)
We are getting hit down in SW florida also, However the market has changed - It is now First time buyers or investors that are buying up all the Short sales and foreclosures.
Found a trick to this foreclosure thing, called a fancy 4 point - In other words due the big things but all the millions of little things are not done
Not sure about you guys - But alot of our Repo’s are wrecked
Aj
I would not say a massive or major increase in business but things are looking better but then again I have never had a bad August.
June was real good but July was not so I went to the lake and hung out at my boat dock most of the month.
The one on the left is my youngest the one on the right is a good friend of ours.
My business for the last 3 months is either feast or famine. I will have a 10 day stretch were I am doing 1.5/2 a day and have 3/4 radon monitors going or I go through a week with 2 inspections and all my monitors are sitting gathering dust.
I could never figure I could down hill ski like an Olympiad but I would do face plants water skiing. Looks like the young men are having fun!!
Great to hear guys are doing well.
