nobody looking for me up on the roof.
I want to experience home inspection in the US. I want to know how it’s different from Korea and how it’s going. I’m always thirsty.
Bert is your go to!
Let’s meet up at the conference in Orlando. Are you staying any extra days before or after the conference?
Bert Hull that is…
I will be in Florida from the 10th to the 20th. And I will go to Korea on the 20th. Now this is the plan.
I’ll be there Feb 13-19. We can inspect my 3-bedroom rental home together. And make a report to give to Jungirl Kim.
Maybe a local Orlando area inspector here can hook us up with a single family home to inspect, then we all go out for Pizza.
That’s great news. I’ll also pass it on to our Korean leader, Jun Girl. I wanted to experience many things in Korea and the U.S. I’ll see you then. Thank you…
Bert, you da’ man!
Hall, Hull, Burt, Brett…we all know who he is and the positive he brings to the forum…nice recognition though and well deserved too.
That’s awesome. That picture is perfect.
We are going to need a lot of pizzas.
Minseok Bang and I inspected my apartment this morning and we found over 40 issues. One will be featured in WTF of the day, since I have never seen this particular defect ever.
We talked about the different style of inspection in Korea vs the USA. For example, he charges about $1400 for an average single family home, and it takes him 5-6 hours on site plus a day or two to write the report.
By contrast, my average single family home is $820 and takes me about 3.25 hours on-site with about 1/2 hour or an hour at home polishing the report plus 1/2 hours of discussion with the client.
I gather that the average inspector in my area spends about 2 hours inspecting on-site and gets average $425 for their efforts.
HVAC in Korea is different than the USA and so is the electrical system. 220v and higher.
I had a great morning with my new friend.
You cannot put a price on the value of Berts mentoring.
Bert Hall is the best!!!..Wait…who is Bert Hall???
Great story, good job! Does Minseok speak English or do you speak Korean? Or did you use a translator (app)?
