Mentorship in Pa?

Hi everyone, been a student for a couple months and going through the online courses and getting to the point I feel maybe some hands on observations will further help me be the inspector I hope to become and get certified ASAP. I’m in Erie, PA and it looks like PA requires you to be some part of 100 completed home inspections to acquire a licensing. Any members near this area who could give some advice or point me in the right direction?

I do have a full time job throughout the week but hoping to transition to a full time inspector once I meet all requirements/feel confident to do so.

Or if anyone just has any general advice on how to find a local mentor or what worked for you?

Thanks in advance!

Kurtis, you may want to contact some Mentors, CMIs or CPIs within 80 to 100 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Be discerning, as some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.
