Nick, you may want to contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.

He did mention that he’s in Northern Ontario. There’s got to be what, 2, maybe 3 inspectors within 700 miles of him.

I’ve no clue how many inspectors are in or near his area. :man_shrugging:

But, he can make adjustments and still the get help he seeks.

The population of inspectors in my general area is not high, but I have been in touch with several. Still need to broach the subject with them.

Hello,

I am looking for a home inspector in southern Ontario to do a few ride-alongs with. Yes, I am willing to pay.

I am located in Newmarket (GTA).

Just a bit of background on me…

I took the online Nachi courses back in 2015, and got my CPI. Since then, I felt that I was not ready to start my career quite yet. I have now worked as a contractor in residential renovations for several years, and feel that I am finally ready to embark on this journey.

Hello InterNACHI Community,

I am looking to participate in a ride-along with an inspector near the Detroit Metro or Oakland County area.(Michigan)

I have completed the Standards of Practice course and would like to get some hands-on experience. I have knowledge of many residential systems and experience in the plumbing industry.

I am open to employment and available for full-time work. I would appreciate any opportunity.
