I have been wondering what type of insurance I needed for the state of Missouri. I know it is recommended to have liability insurance and Error and Omission is also recommended but I was wondering if anyone could give their opinion based on experience.
What does the State of Missouri and your Attorney have to say, as they are the ones you will be dealing with it if you have the incorrect or insufficient policies/coverages.
Never trust the opinions of random persons on the internet with your livelihood.
Do your due diligence with the governing agencies and your trusted legal representation.
JMHO.
MO, has no requirements to be a home inspector! So no licensing and no insurance! You could have been slinging burgers one day and inspecting the next! But, YES, you should have at a minimum General Liability insurance and I would not work without Errors and Omissions insurance.
