I use an IR and the GE Protimeter. Both work great for me.

Used/tested a few of their models doing some gigs in Corpus Christi with another inspector and locally with a flooring installer. I prefer the dual usage Protimeter and Tramex models.
Surveymaster DUAL function can be found for $439
(instead of $500) and has both functions. I like the

The leak has reportedly been fixed. The meter says the spots are still damp. Further evaluation is called for. Dated pictures go into my file.
