Mold/air monitor equipment question

What is the best mold/air monitor? We have had so much flooding in my area, thinking about taking some courses and pricing out equipment??

I use pro lab. You can get set up for $300, and they will send you the pump, cassettes, tape, and 10 lab fees included.
(So basically you pay for the 10 fees and the equipment is free)

Thanks Daniel. I will look that over, I was wondering about Pro Lab.

Check out Sporecyte.com as well. They have their own pump for sale too. Great reports and fast service.

Pro labs pump sucks balls, it won’t even pull 3 lpm. Trust me I tested mine and it won’t pull enough air through a cassette to get a viable sample. I use sporecyte. Their new pump will easily pull 15 lpm. Way better report as well.
Tell them I sent you.

Have you put a Calibration rotameter on the pump to test it? Yes the pump sounds like it’s working real good, but it barely pulls 3-4lpm. If it’s not pulling enough air through the cassettes, you have faulty test results.i stopped using my pro-labs pump as it will not perform. And it’s only been used 3 times with in a month. I put a brand new Calibration rotameter onto it after the 3rd test, and low and behold it does not suck as it should. I guess if a cassette only requires 3-4 lpm then I guess you might get a good sample. But trust me the pump sucks that comes with their kit.

William, that sucks!

I stated the truth
