My friend was fired from his job today thanks to Elon Musk

He and his team were close to figuring out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll. They were so close to finding out! Now we’ll never know. $145 million dollars down the drain.

Sad and insensitive post Nick. I have friends and neighbors who lost their jobs due to this. Some are your “funnies” aren’t too funny…

Many individuals have been fired by Elon Musk the illegal immigrant that came to your country on a study visa and skipped school. My heart goes out to anyone affected by this liar and criminal.

I agree. I also have a friend who will be fired. A smart, dedicated, hard working, relaible individual who deserves better. The zeitgeist of all of these employees being worthless is sickening.

Interesting that many are coming forward and saying that they voted for Trump, never thinking their jobs and lively hood would be striped out from underneath them. Sad times for them…

I believe a “Tootsie Roll” may have been mentioned in one of the many lawsuits. I believe the “licker” heads up DOGE…

But it’s not “insensitive” for bureaucrats to run up a $36 trillion dollar debt and give it to my children?

I don’t want them to have jobs paid for by my kids. Unemployed all of a sudden??? Good, stop wasting other people’s money. About time you get out of the cart and help push… go start a business and make your own money instead of borrowing from children.

Apologize to us taxpayers, box up your desk, leave, and never steal from little children (some not even born yet) again. It’s not like we’re demanding you pay us back, so quit your whining. Welcome to the productive economy.

I see the Loony Left minds are still full of Trump and Musk living rent free. Good Job to DOGE!

Are we tired of all the winning yet??

That tootsie roll licker was really an undercover FBI agent investigating human trafficking and child rapists, and he had a house under contract that I was supposed to inspect next week. He cancelled his contract because he got laid off, and now I won’t buy that new item I was going to buy.

I know all you guys know how to use the Google machine. If not, I suggest you give it a try.

Here’s an example for your reading pleasure.

how much of the federal budget in 2024 went toward federal employees pay - Google Search

In 2024, about 3% of the federal budget went toward federal employee compensation.

Explanation

  • In 2024, the federal government spent $6.9 trillion, which was 24% of the country’s GDP.
  • The White House issued an executive order to finalize a 5.2% pay raise for federal employees in 2024.
  • President Joe Biden signed an executive order to give federal civilian employees an average 2% pay raise in 2025.

Other federal budget spending

  • Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid account for almost 75% of mandatory spending.
  • Individual income taxes are the largest single source of federal revenues, making up about half of all receipts.

Federal employee services

Federal employees provide a wide range of services, including issuing Social Security payments and safeguarding the country’s nuclear weapons.

More Fraud?

But I thought all of our Social Security payments were safe inside a lockbox earning interest. You’re saying someone spent it all??? Who??? Answer: The bureaucrats we are firing. Should have fired them long ago. They stole all that money too and spent it.

That’s dumb. If that were true, we could just throw rocks through windows and generate work for the people who clean up broken glass, make windows, deliver windows, install windows, etc.

This is essentially what I was going to write… I’ll add that these government freeloaders don’t give a crap about me and my family when the bottom falls out of the housing market and I’m essentially unemployed. They don’t care when interest rates spike and the volume of houses selling is cut in half.

Most government workers are totally out of touch with the reality of how most of us live. They just assume there’s always more money to take/borrow/waste/steal. I feel bad for them like I feel bad for anyone falling on hard times but that doesn’t mean I’m sorry about the revolution that’s underway.

I don’t think that’s the narrative at all. These smart, hard working, reliable people are important and valuable people. We just can’t afford to pay them.

We all make choices every day to not buy things we want. We do without because we are responsible with our personal budgets and don’t want to go into debt for things we can’t afford.
The gov’t should be just as responsible with our tax dollars.

I do feel bad for the people losing jobs and I hope they can find interesting and meaningful productive jobs that add to our GDP.
