I’m sorry that our lead generation system isn’t fully developed in Canada yet. I’m working on it. I’m happy to see what we have going so far is working for you.

Bob,

Glad it has worked for you. I have yet to receive any response at all and I have been listed since last August!

Must be the area!

I always ask a client how they heard about me and the two stated from the WEB of NACHI I guess on their search engines my name came up. As I have tried a few search engines and my name came up all connected to NACHI…once again thanks NACHI

I always ask as well and so far nothing, nada, zilch.

I have an additional obstacle to overcome in my area because the agents prefer the franchised guys.

The reason I have been given most often....
"It would be easier to go after them (franchisors) if they screw up because they are franchised. A private inspector can just fold up and start a different company"

I have some educating to do!!!

There are some great ideas in success tip section One being advertise locally owned and operated. I think you already looked at them but that one might help for sure. What I found is you got to keep wacking them over the head telling that your out there, it still is a rough ride for me and I been doing it for a few years not all that long. I have had offices tell me to stop sending them stuff but I keep right on doing it. A web site has helped some not great but some it has paid for itself. I am trying out some of the ideas I have found here I'll let you know if they work.

Thanks

Just need to get the realtors to like my very “personalised” services and my quality inspections!

Bob,
Locally owned and operated is front and center on my brochure. NACHI is at bottom, my business card takes up the top quarter of the front of the brochure. I just have not been pushing as hard as I should.
I have now gone to snail mailing a letter with a brochure and a card in them. Letter spelling out services, quality and pricing. 250 will have gone out by the end of the week.

Russel Kirk's ideas, advice and insight posted on marketing thread have helped me with the ideas and decisions that I am now making and implementing.
