3 years now. I opened up Marshburn Home Inspections after 14 years in construction ( from diggin ditches to playin superintendant ). icon_biggrin.gif I am also a Raleigh Firefighter. 24 hour shifts + inspecting on my off days, I stay pretty busy.

I respect you a lot for being a firefighter, my wife was a firefighter before I ever met her. I have been working with my family in residential construction for about 14 years, and I’m ready for a change. I passed the NC Home inspector exam a few months ago so it is just a matter of time before I get things rolling; I can’t wait. If you have any other tips for me, shoot me an email. I’m not a local but have been an OBX lover since I was 19. I went opposite the evacuation traffic across the bay during hurricane Hugo just to surf the graveyard of ships.
