I’m new to the home inspection business with a 25 year background in sales/marketing with fortune 100 companies and have some training in home inspections and knowledgeable about basic home and construction requirements.

I'm interested in feedback on whether I should go with a franchise or try on my own... advantage/disadvantages. I'm already taking a home study course but am also talking to Amerispec and Inspect it 1st about franchises. Please help decide. What is the perception of these franchises within the industry ? How much income can an agressive starter net after 1st year\ in 1-2 yrs.

Any and all honest comments are appreciated.
I need all the help I can to get started in Florida market..

Hi Dennis

2 of the more sucessfull members that I know of who went the franchise route are,

a) Joe Haggerty.........housemaster
b) Russel Kirk............the home team

I would contact both these guy's before you make a decission, and spend any money

Ditto with Gerry’s suggestion. Joe H and Russel Kirk both own successful franchises.
