Hi to all,
Kevin if I am seeing this picture correctly (and you did not post it upside down) then this is just about unbelievable, as what I am looking at is the tabs on the shingles pointing up rather than down across a vertical transition, which should not be shingled anyway, (at least not like that) also the shingles appear to be "cooked" how many layers are on that roof ??
do you have another shot from a different angle, as I'm still not believing what my eyes are telling me ?

Hi to all,
this is how I would report this
Jeff's reporting style is in need of further evaluation by a
senior Fl based licensed home inspector

Hi,
For one thing the material is approx, 18-20 years +-
it is marginal at best.
Be very carefull, when estimating the age of roofing material
you will be sued asap.

I estimated it at 15+ years.
The garage was roofed at the same time, but the damage from organic materials aged it rapidly
