Need your opinion on this roofing

Do you see a problem here? Hard to describe to the client, but it appears it’s not following “normal” roofing installation.

Just having a tough time describing what exactly is wrong.

Hi to all,

Kevin if I am seeing this picture correctly (and you did not post it upside down) then this is just about unbelievable, as what I am looking at is the tabs on the shingles pointing up rather than down across a vertical transition, which should not be shingled anyway, (at least not like that) also the shingles appear to be "cooked" how many layers are on that roof ??

do you have another shot from a different angle, as I'm still not believing what my eyes are telling me ?

Regards

Gerry

Jeff, I hate to do this to you (or anyone), but ...

"Recommend further evaluation"?????

Give me a break, you said it (almost) right, but then just did not know when to stop.

"Roof material" WAS "improperly installed." Have qualified and licensed roofing contractor repair or replace.

I hate to say it, but THERE AIN'T NO REASON FOR NO FRIGGIN FURTHER EVAL ON THAT ROOF!!

Hi,

For one thing the material is approx, 18-20 years +-
it is marginal at best.
Be very carefull, when estimating the age of roofing material
you will be sued asap.

picture is too isolated to figure the roof.

I estimated it at 15+ years.

The garage was roofed at the same time, but the damage from organic materials aged it rapidly ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)
