1979 home, 3700 sq feet with many interior upgrades and the deck has some added “band-aids”. Both of those rear concrete pads appear to have some issues. Roof looks like crap. Basement garage has a return vent and likely no fire protection. I am predicting a pretty big report.

Return vent from a room with woodworking tools and garden tractors is not a good idea.

I do not where the furnace is located as of yet. This is an upcoming inspection on Tuesday. Photo’s are from the listing website. I try to do a little reconnaissance beforehand.

Good idea. I do the same, so I know what kind of ladders to bring and if there is a large dog house in the back yard, or external garage they forgot to mention, etc. It’s best to have that info before you show up.
