I rarely offer a suggestion for improvement, but here goes:

OASIS pronounced starts with the “O” sound. I would emphasize that by making the center of the logo (that “O”) a bit more pronounced but then also make the first letter in “OASIS” perfectly round instead of what you have which is merely a roundish square with rounded corners.

Just my two cents.

Nick, wouldn’t all the font would need to be changed?

I wouldn’t. I’d just change the first letter.

There was an earlier version of the logo with more of a rounded O as the primary icon, but the inspector felt the image looked too much like a halo, so I set up a more abstracted letterform. I like the more abstracted shape because it’s interesting as an icon, but still connects to the name.

Fonts are tricky in that they are designed to look cohesive, with some fonts you can mess with letters, but with others you have to be careful. #1 looks “off” to me because one thing is not like the others. #2 works because the font is designed to be rounded. If the inspector had requested a word mark logo, I would’ve done something like #3. the reason 3 works is because the O is closer to the width of the other letters, so it appears to “fit” better, but sometimes folks prefer to have all of the letters the same height. If you change one thing slightly in a logo, it affects everything else.

This is mostly just helpful info for inspectors, but also applies.

Often the structure of a logo is determined partially by the style of logo the inspector is after, but it’s also informed by the length of the name. This is good to remember when an inspector is setting up a name, the more words and the longer those words are, the less choices you have with a logo. Short and too-the-point is good. Oasis Inspections is great. It could’ve been North Florida Oasis Home & Property Inspections Services LLC which would’ve been difficult to make into a good logo.

“Oasis”, is five letters. The word “Inspections” is 11 and I want to keep that word as clear and legible as I can at the top of a website. In this instance I chose a wider, more techie-looking font because it fit the modern approach the inspector was looking for, but a wider font also means the letters take up more space width-wise which means the word “inspections” can be larger. This is important when the logo gets scaled down. Most of my decisions are about trying to make a logo work when it’s tiny.

Thanks for the comment, I’ll pass it on. If the inspector wants to change it we certainly can.

I concur.
Leave it alone.
Setting up my website I dealt a lot with how fonts looked, where rendered by browsers and provide better compression.

Thanks for the explanation, Levi.
