Hi I am a new inspector and I am looking for a mentor or someone that is interested in doing ride alongs. I am a very hands on person and would like to get in the field before actually getting in the field. So if anyone does ride alongs or are looking to start I would love to join if possible.

Derriniquka, contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring.
