Hi guys. Looking for an inspector to intern with in Connecticut, or information as to how to get my license here as a full inspector. It’ s hard for me to imagine who would want to train their competition, but that’s how CT wants it done. How did you guys get your certifications?

NY requires a certain number of hours doing supervised inspections - usually completed as part of the home inspector course at a college or similar facility. Does Conn. offer any course study that includes the field inspection hours ? Otherwise it has to be hard to find an Inspector to train with. No checks or balances on who does this training like this. Cant see the State allowing Anyone teach you.
