How was the ventilation? Regardless, thats pretty quick for the shingles to start cupping. I would be skeptical of the product. Any pictures?

EDIT_ Just noticed you said Nov. 04. Are you sure they just haven't had a chance yet to "lay down" from the heat of summer. Pictures would be especially helpful.

It is a new roof and just the one layer. The attic access was painted shut, they will cut the paint so I can inspect the attic. It has a ridge vent for ventilation.

What about the soffits? The ridge vent (outlet) without an inlet source will be of limited effectiveness. When you do access the attic, check to verify that the soffits were actually cut through above the louvered vents.
I still would lean towards the shingles haven't had a chance to fully lie flat due to the November installation. Take some pictures if possible, when returning.

One of the common causes for this is the nails are not pounded in straight and the head of the nail or staple will hold the shingle up in the middle of the tab. This should be pointed out as it prevents good seal down and should any one walk on the roof those nails can be pushed through causing access for water
