Hello everyone name is John I’m 38 years old. I live in Bushkill Pennsylvania. I have worked in the trades my whole life. My dad was a general contractor. I have recently acquired my interNACHI Home Inspection Standards of Practice Course certificate. I’m looking to gain some experience in the field. Welcome John, take as many courses as you can. Do practice inspections on your home and your family and friends homes. There is a TON of info in this forum, you can use the search button at top right or sometimes I get better results by doing an internet search… (insert what you want to learn about) internachi forum. Adding your location info in your profile helps when you may have questions. Good luck!

@jstagaard John, you may want to contact some CMIs or CPIs within 80 to 100 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Also, some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.
