Since there isnt any nachi chapters in Ohio, Join ashi for a peer review and then drive an hour away to shadow another inspector like I did for your hours of field training
Don’t need to have a chapter. Just have to do a regular “mock” inspection with a licensed inspector and submit a report/INachi form and find at least 70% of the defects.
Also, INachi May be able to provide 40 hours of “virtual training” or similar vs. shadowing an inspector for 40 hours. Not 100% sure on this one though yet.
The state license application specifically states 10 parallel inspections OR 40 hours of field training with a licensed HI in Ohio and with at least 1 peer review inspection.
I’m still waiting for you to show us the email, that you stated that there are Nachi chapter in Ohio.
Hands on field training and peer reviews are the best hands on experience you’ll get, Instead of sitting I’m front of your computer all day. IMO
