I can’t wait.
I got an email from a member asking me…Since I did the advanced electrical training video instructor and co-wrote the NACHI basic electrical online exam…lol…am I now Professor Abernathy when your University begins…lol…
I thought you would find that interesting…so I just had to come visit.
Ironically…the question did come to mind…since the CMI’s demonstrate years of experience, affidavit submitted statements on hours of education and in the field training…is your new university going to offer any transfer credit of those accomplishments towards the new “future” degree.
Considering the “BAR” for that designation is set high you would think it would transfer something in an evaluation process?
Anyway…Congrats and as always Wishing NACHI and the Members superior success…I NACHI Blood runs deep…!
Welcome back Paul, I hope you stay for awhile! Your professional insightful educating responses were always helpful to many here.
I second that!
We look forward to this and will look forward to having our degree. Great job guys keep us posted
The InterNACHI courses you’ve already taken will count as they are part of the curriculum. As we get all the InterNACHI members their degrees, we’ll go back across North America and lobby to get members with the degree exempted from licensing, much like engineers are exempt.
Great job Nick. I just joined your other association as well. I love all you do for us. I would like to know when the degree is available. I already have 317 credit hours with the courses you have offered us. I will be taking the other courses as soon as I have a free moment. I will be proud to have that associates degree on my homepage and my wall. Please let us know as soon as it is available.
If this is an actual degree, what are you doing for core and general education classes?
Already developed. All the courses are done. It’s the University accreditation that we’re going through now.
but the actual answer to my question is…???
Those courses are already done (developed). They will be available online just like our others.
This sounds AWESOME!! Cant wait…Thanks team NACHI!!
Nick, will the registered students receive a “student ID” which would qualify us for multiple student discounts on goods and services in the outside world? That would be awesome. Even my gym gives a discount to students.
I love that idea.
If the University “Degree” takes 1,000 plus hours when will the new “developed” 500 or so hours be available to INachi members?
I only see a little more than 500 hours of present INachi online courses.
Yes. More details by the end of the year.
This is truly awesome Nick. I Hope My BSBA in Business from Michigan Technological University will have some transferable courses.
Thanks Ben, I appreciate all that you do. BTW, really enjoyed your last webinar on moisture intrusion.
When we offer the degree. I think it is more like 1,700 hours, not 1,000 hours.
700 is a little more than “a bit more”.
