I am starting to see more PEX plumbing installed in new construction around here. I am not real familiar with it. I wanted to get some expert opinions as far as special things to look for or particular concerns with the use of this material.
Thanks

Copper recycled @ over $3.00 pound !!
Make sure pex used for heating systems have an oxygen barrier.
If you can see it, look for a thermal break between slab and exterior walls, look for sleeve @ transition out of concrete. Depending upon what stage of installation you are looking at there are more things to look for.
