I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to obtain information on the application to be considered for placement on the inspectors roster. I would like to be certified to preform hud/ fha inspections. I have ordered the booklets that are required to read however i cannot find who to contact to get a application for the test. Any info would be great.

I’ve been trying to do the same thing. I have been to the hud.gov web site and it is confusing. I have made several phone calls only to wind up back where I started. I did come across this site, but the dates are old. http://www.appraisaltoday.com/hud_99-35.htm. It’s almost as though it’s a closed registration. I will keep on looking, and let you know if I find anything. Maybe someone else knows.

Hi guys

go to this site. That should get you started.

www.hud.gov/offices/reac/products/prodpass.cfm

Click on the links on the right that say: Inspector Assessment Form Info. This is the form to fill out and get the ball rolling. I just received my info to start my two online courses and tests. Referred to as modules. The third module is a cless environment and are located at various sites across the country. But don't know where until I get the third module link.

Good luck to you.

Here’s a site to check out for HUD inspections. They cover mostly the south but are nation wide and offer FREE training.

Check it out.
