Powder Post Beetles

New inspector with a question. Does anyone consider this is possible powder post beetle damage. No sawdust when I tapped the floor joist. The floor was dirt and wet so nothing visible there either.

Nope! The random holes are not conducive to PPB’s.

Not like any i’ve ever seen. Mostly occur in rough hewn lumber (logs) used in older construction (basement timbers).

Thanks for the quick response, Larry, Roy, and Bob. I have not found any definite powder post beetles yet but the multiple small holes made me think it was possible.
