I have a friend that asked me the following question, I would like to know what ya’ll think.
“If an inspector came across evidence of a protein fire or protein smoke damage, what would they advise the seller or buyer to do? Are there suggestions on how to do the repairs if you’re trying to sell?”
How do you know it’s from protein?
Was it in the kitchen?
I assume she is selling the house and the damage happened during her owning it so she knows it’s a protein fire. I didn’t ask though.

Like most such one-off questions, you just refer to a trained professional for repair options or advice.
I don’t differentiate smoke types or what kind of fire was present.

As with most things we don’t understand…
Maybe refer buyer to this guy?
