Pulsing Water Supply

My daughter’s home in Colorado is on a well water system. Periodically, the guest toilet begins to run and the water pulses into the tank. If the kitchen sink is also running at the same time, it will also pulse. I don’t know about what is happening at the other fixtures in the house. I’m thinking pressure switch on the well, but there is likely a bad flapper in the tank, leaking and causing the water demand, turning the water on at the flush valve and maybe a sensitive pressure switch at the well. What are y’all’s thoughts? I have video if wanted.

I don’t think it’s a defect with any of your plumbing fixtures. I would bring someone out to inspect the pressure tank for the well. It could be a bad bladder or the pressure switch in the tank is malfunctioning.

It could be any number of problems with the well: failed pressure tank, faulty pump or check valve.
