Kind of tricky to tell. I had to realy look to see where the filter went. You also have to keep in mind that this furnace is in a manufactured home, which get their conbustion air from ************. Not going to say, that would give it away to most.
Hi to all,
Jason, I don’t think its that hard to tell, without giving away the answer, take a good look at the fan housing.

Gerry
That looks like a typical Florida air handler. I really like the tight fit.
My understanding is that manufactured homes usually use down-draft furnaces, because they are located on the main floor with the hvac ducts running beneath the floor. (no basement)
Geo
lol…well if the coils and fan location does not give this one away…lol…
Jeez, I wanna change my answer. That’ll teach me to glance & click.
Why don’t I have a picture?
I thought we did away with the draft.
lol…dang an attorney with good humor…it WILL snow in Hawaii.
Hey Mr. Lawyer Man…What do you call 10,000 Attorneys at the bottom of the ocean…thehehe
( just teasing ya Joe, I don’t need any lawsuits you know…thehehe )
Joe, don’t give up the day job just yet

An A/C coil over the electrical elements? What happens in the event the drip pan drain becomes clogged, not to mention secondary drain, if there is one. Water and electricity do they mix?
Happy New Year to all!

They do in MY world…I am in the rain all the time fixing electrical work, just another hazzard of the job…
Yes, but it tastes awful!!
Hi to all,
The correct answer the question is:
Down-draft
The fan housing is the real give away here, as it is not possible for that fan in that location to blow upwards.

Gerry
That was a good QOD. I wounder why so many gave the incorrect answer?
When I stated:
The “**********” is “the room”. The air comes in through the front into the upper chamber, through the missing air filter at the top, down through the coils &/or the heat exchanger, past the fan down through the floor to the fest of the home.
What gave it away for me was the electrical elements where at the bottom, and most mobile homes I have inspected have always been down draft. For awhile more had chosen downdraft.

Paul,
It already DOES snow in Hawaii! http://www.skihawaii.com
It’s okay. I was born and raised there - I never knew until a couple years before I moved away…
Frank
dang…now see I have never been to Hawaii…I should go and keep Gerry company on his electrical quest…lol
Maybe if we reversed the wiring?
