Sorry BS and falsifying facts are not in the HI's job description. If a crack is there I note it. It wasn't originally built in to the house so therefore it is a defect. It would be reported as needing repaired.
The repair person is certainly going to evaluate it in the first place else, he would know how to repair it properly. Sorry most young couples are not willing to take the risk that you are. Concealing the facts is a job for some realtors who try to use home inspectors to do that for them.
This is not a hamburger flip property that a young couple would pawn off on some sucker a few years down the line. You're an investor and you are willing to take risks because you are skilled in manipulating facts and leveraging others to do so. That's fine, that's what you trained yourself to do.
