QOD Pool and Electrical Lines

Not on your life. I can’t swim. ;)

I think you’d learn pretty quickly if you jumped off that board.

This was an excellent observation Jeffrey, IMO.

22.5 Ft over the water for most residential applications 25 feet for higher Voltage Power Lines.

And I would recommend NOT to stand underneath and use your Metal Tape to check…

It is a little hard to stand in the middle of a swimming pool to measure. For interest sake if you did inspections of pools for a living you could use Trigonometry and angles to come up with the clearance.
Lets see who has the brains to figure this out.
Challenge is set forth for all Math nerds.

Why make your head hurt?

Measure from the pools edge, and add the distance from the top edge of the pools edge to the water line.

Close enough.

And don’t forget to add the HI (height of instrument)

Marcel do you realize you just admitted you are a math nerd you better erase it before you get caught.

Not really, used it all the time in the horizontal position too. Simple math. :)
