Question: Am I loosing it?

I just send my 135 lb Rotweiller to the door to greet them

I live out on a farm so this is very seldom an issue but a couple times a year someone will brave up and take the long trek down my gravel drive. Couple of weeks ago I had just finished a 5 hour light commercial inspection then cleaned out horse stalls when I got home… ( After changing into my overalls),Guy drives up to the barn and gets out, immediately starts smiling and telling me they are doing windows in the area and would like to give me an estimate… (I built my house 5years ago)… I let him finish as I stared at him… Let a few moments of silence build a little tension as I kinda smirked and said" anyone ever tell you your awful cute" then I just looked right through him… He backed to his car while thanking me for my time and almost fell trying to jump in… While I laughed about that the rest of the evening I’ll bet he won’t run this area again…then again if he comes back with a buddy I guess we’ll have the gun discussion …lol

If you really want to do something about it, ask to see what they are working on, get their name and see if they are licensed. If not, report them to the proper authorities. In 20 years of being in business for myself, I’ve only had one person ask to see my license and insurance.
