Start with washing, vacuum, steam the bugs to death, use bed bug spray for remaining bed bugs, use bed bug traps, encase with a bed bug cover, if all else has failed call a pest control company.

There were some nice answers. The “secret” directions stated do not answer #2. I’ll give the answer to that one also.
For #3 it’s slugs, but snails will do.
For #5 I was thinking of a tent fumigation, but heat will do.

Thanks Marc! This week did have some real “thinkers”. As in, I think I need to read up more on bugs and critters. I haven’t thought about them much since I left the hardware and garden business. Thanks again for putting the questions together.
