  2. All of those can affect draft. Interior vs. exterior cold climates for example can affect draft significantly. Appliance size may related to volume, but the AFUE comes into it as a more efficient bigger appliance may release less heat, reducing draft.

Just seeing this today:
A (Other choices were good characteristics)
E (May still affect draft, but least of others)
A (A wood flue would be flammable)
A (Firestops not installed at either the top or bottom side of the joist where the vent passes through floors or the roof. (from the chimney course)
D (4") (This was difficult for me because I’ve never seen adjacent flues)
