Complied with all the requirements FL DBPR asks for and got my License number in a matter of hours. I thought with the holidays and normally the way things work, it would take at least a few weeks. Possibly going through the “Online” process speeds things up. I’ll continue working on a website and purchase the software needed.
Been quite the challenge getting this far, but moving along.

I currently just finished my exam, 120hr course, got insurance and my finger prints done, all left is to submit my application for my license. Thank you all so much! Yeah it is a bit overwhelming at first it seems, but this looks like a great community to be a part of and I really like the high level of comarodery and assistance that is provided. I am here in the panhandle of FL (Niceville) and if there are any inspectors that would be willing to let me shadow or pick some brains that would be greatly appreciated (not sure that is a thing but I’ll shoot my shot). Good afternoon! Yes I was fortune enough to ask Jazmin if there were any military discounts for the test and she told me a few days before about the free test being offered in Sandestin. I went to take the test and saw they had the conference going on so I made my way around and talked with a few of the vendors. I have a zoom meeting Monday with a rep from Spectora to go over the software and see if it will fit my needs, I have it narrowed down to that or Home Gauge. And welcome to the panhandle of Florida. Niceville is home for me and I moved back a couple years ago after doing 21 years in the Coast Guard.
