Guess who Florida HI License # HI1396 is?

Hint: He’s an InterNACHI member.

Looks like you got some skin in the game. Now don’t go doing nary a repair on any properties you inspect.

Your license

But I’m a licensed GC! What, I can’t use my home inspection license as a lead generator to drum up repair work?

 Do you feel “held back”, Nick?

Does the COE apply to license GCs like me?

Congratz Nick!!

Especially to licensed GCs like you. You look shifty to me.

Nick congrats on the Fl License.

What areas will you be servicing?

Do you also have a Florida General Contractors License?

as long as you are with me and not compete against me

I have no plans to move to FL. Not enough sunshine.

Our attorneys made me get the license to give me standing in a suit we may have to file regarding a certain DBPR consultant. I don’t think we’ll have to, but we’re getting ready just in case. I’m guessing it won’t come to that.

JUst busting your chops  You brought that nasty weather with you on your visit.

What method did you use to get it? Grandfathering?

Cograts---- Nick the conspector! ((-:

Yep.

Something else to add to my comments regarding GCs becoming home inspectors. Now, you don’t even have to be a resident!:mrgreen:

Congrats Nick…hopefully whoever it is at DPBR gets what they have coming to them.

I believe he grandfathered in with his Home Inspector License. I do not believe Florida recognizes many other G.C Licenses as our requirements are so strict.

Nick,
Did you use your home inspector credentials or G.C license to be grandfathered in?

Finally some Competition!

Just kidding, good luck Nick I think it was a good move on your part.

Didn’t know grandfathering was in effect yet; thought that wouldn’t be passed until spring legislative session?? Did you have to take the NHIE exam? And, congrats on your new career - recommend you join InterNACHI before the rate goes up!
