Not to be snide but who cares? Redfin is not going far with this and it is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

NAR has gotten by on the domination of the MLS throughout the country in the digital age. If Redfin and Zillow can buck that trend, big shift in real estate sales would occur.

You are correct.

Redfin has some traction… They have a lot of listings and a seemingly good business model. I’d definitely hesitate to say this is a, “nothing burger.” On the buying side (and research as an HI) they are my first stop for sure. They have by far the cleanest/easiest access to info over Zillow, Realtor-com, or the others.
