Not only is anyone who considers it a viable option not a thermographer, but is a worthless home inspector based upon their inability to understand the damn process.

You have a “standard”. Stick with it. You don’t need no damn IR to meet that standard.

You can’t write a narrative, so you get someone else to write it.
You know little of nothing and “recommend further evaluation by…”
You can’t afford the tools (@ $195 for all inspections), so you want a camera like this so you can market thermal imaging!
Exactly what are you getting paid for?

No stupid questions are ever asked, but it is quite obvious that there are a lot of stupid inspectors asking questions…
