I’ve been a general licensed contractor for a long time, but looking to try a few new endeavors, and I’d love to see how someone flows through an inspection or two…the way I taught younger guys carpentry for years. Thanks.
This may help:
Christian, you may want to contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.

Where in Los Angeles are you?
DM your contact info, and we can talk on Wednesday or Thursday.
Thanks!
Thank you Larry, yes it’s interesting that some industries feel that way. When I was in the concrete world, 20 years ago, we all gathered together via a couple organizations and collectively decided to share everything - and then the industry just improved. Our network improved, our standards improved and our concrete improved. But maybe not the case in home inspections. It was more fun to work together. But I definitely get it. Particularly in a small town. But L.A. has 20 million people.
Ian, Thank you!!! In the valley. Just emailed you. (Not sure where the DM is on this platform yet).
