He got up there with 4"wheel"drive. That dog was by my side the whole inspection. Very friendly. He was waiting for me in the loader when I came out of the house. He owns the place.

Stu
Absolutely appaling! Cruelty to animals! My wife was disgusted that someone would put their dog in danger like this. Very unprofessional!!!
Hi Stu Remember me.?
Just thought I'd give ya a little ribbing.
That is a beautiful dog you have. What is that ... A roof hound?

Sure, Larry how could I forget? That dog got himself up on that roof, and he got himself down. It is a “basement” house-used to have a flat roof, the current owner (of the dog and the house) built a pitched roof, with the gutters about 18" off the ground. He ran around like a spaz when we came off the roof.
By the way Larry, I stay away from controversy now. Thanks for your help.

I thought that was your dog. He’s still a nice looking dog.
I’ve been lucky that I have not come across one dog during my
inspections in the last six months. However, when I visited a mortgage company to drop off some marketing info., I was greeted at the door
by a black dog (not sure of the type). His barking would normally scare an average person, but he stops when he gets up to you. Very friendly.
Not sure if that’s an ideal situation for business. But he’s the only one that has greeted me as I walk into the main office. Everyone else stays in their side offices, and say "Can I help You?’ from their desk. I’m not sure how a regular customer would feel, but I feel a little disorientated hearing a faceless voice coming from an unknown direction.

Funny, I was told by a guy the other day that all inspectors have 3 things: A truck, a flashlight, and a dog… We will just say that lab was yours.
Even funnier, I have 2 labs myself. One is sitting right here beside me as I type…weighing in at a cool 95 lbs. Also have a F150 and about 3 flashlights. Guess the guy was right…
