Safety glazing rule?

The course says when there’s a window in a shower that’s not 60 inches high and has its bottom edge exposed then it needs to be made of safety glazing, but what does it mean by “the bottom edge exposed”?? Like if it’s an openable window and the bottom of the metal frame is visible??

From the bottom of the window to the floor

Measure 60" or less from the floor to the visible portion of the glass.

from Fine Homebuilding:
A slippery bathroom floor can send us sprawling, thus any glazing less than 60 in. above one of these wet walking or standing surfaces creates a “hazardous location.” Unfortunately, the code doesn’t read quite as clearly as that. Many code readers are thrown off by the use of the word “edge” in the following statement: “…where the bottom exposed edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches….” Though “edge” sounds something like the exposed edge of a car window that’s rolled down halfway, it’s simply referring to the lowest visible portion of the glass. You would only need to measure up to that, not the portion tucked inside the frame.

Guys, i hope this is not considered as a spam cus my situation fits to this thread perfectly. So i have crittall window, where the metal frame might leave parts of the glass exposed, it could mean the bottom edge of the glass is accessible and unprotected. Could you please clarify if this interpretation fits the situation? Anyway, if you think i shld provide you more detailed information, i will just created a new thread for this

Pictures, both close up and distant, would help.
