If I was there I would do the evaluation, that is what they are paying me for.
Then I would have recommended repairs accordingly.
But to recommend an eval based on a picture, I would be basing it on an opinion of view without actual facts of being there to eval. :slightly_smiling_face:

You make it sound so simple! :slight_smile: sometimes the sucker is on so tight to everything unless you are unzipping and removing the siding you cannot see much else. At that point it becomes invasive inspection, is it not?

Tell them in your opinion a kickout there could be prudent, then move along

There should be drip edge, fascia that terminates below the soffit (or below the barge rafter/sub fascia if there is no soffit), and some degree of roof overhang at that rake below the point of discussion that should take care of runoff going off the rake. And anyway, most of the runoff is going down the roof and over edge of the eave. It’s not as though that’s a valley where runoff is concentrated. It’s just a sidewall.
