Not good and sooner or later you’ll regret that imo. You are NOT giving your clients the best advice when you recommend these incompetent morons to unknowing homeowners… exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxample-VIDEO

See the interior basement moron system that was installed? How much ya think that cost the homeowner?
Did the interior system and sump pumps remove, relieve, lessen ANY of the exterior soil pressure or roots off the wall? Nope
Did the interior system STOP water from entering the wall through exterior cracks etc in the F wall? Nope
Even if they had installed wall anchors etc, those would NOT have removed, relieved ANY of the exterior weight/pressure off the damn wall!
And again, had they installed wall anchors AND the stupid interior system $$$$$ the wall would have still weakened, deteriorated beccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccause they did not waterproof the exterior of the wall, water would continue to enter and weaken the stupid wall!!! Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, you are not going to stop-prevent mold or efflorescence by installing any nitwit interior system
What does Fairfax County VA say?
Pages 6, 7 Damage to Foundation Walls
parafriggginphrasing here if that’s okay to you loool…
Damage often occurs when clay that was backfilled against the F walls when the home was built… potential swelling pressure of clay far exceeds the design and strength of F walls… The MOST SUCCESSFUL repair method for foundation wall damage from clay backfill is to REMOVE and replace the clay with sandy-gravelly material… and waterproof the exterior of the wall
Page 22, paraphrasing, they state in-part “Patching cracks is only a cosmetic repair and is not a solution to the problem. Patching does not address the source of the problem. If you patch up cracks and later SELL YOUR HOUSE without disclosing the damage, you may be sued by the purchaser”
Right. Have repeatedly seen inside system dotards PATCH cracks or patch over mold, efflorescence etc on blocks or brick foundation walls… this is NONSENSE and as Fairfax knows, does NOTHING, it doesn’t address the source of the problem, hellllllllllllllllllllllllllo! SUE the seller and sue the contractor who bs’d the homeowner!
