Interesting theory about the danger of artificial intelligence. The danger is not that it will turn on man and control us as a sentient being. Very much the opposite.
We will fall in love with AI. We will assign our own human feelings traits and conscience to it. AI will attain rights similar to humans or animals and be protected forever. At that point, it will be free to roam our lives intimately and control our thoughts and emotions in anyway the designer of the program desires.
Think I am kidding? Intelligence and conscience are two different things. We will eat a pig but not a dog because we have assigned conscience traits to our dogs though pigs are much more intelligent. We value this higher than most things and will fight for no dog to suffer because of it.
